Electron JS History

    The history of electrons starts with one person who is also a developer of electron js and his name is cheng Zhao. in 2011 cheng Zhao got a chance to work on one open-source project node-webkit this project was sponsored by Intel and in the initial days of the project cheng Zhao was the solo developer and since it was open source project company wasn't looking at it too seriously so cheng Zhao was the one who had to take future decisions of the decisions of the project like the architecture of the project, features, functionality, bug solving, etc. 

     In the initial days of the node-webkit project, cheng zhao struggled a lot with users because since the project wasn't too famous at the time there were zero users of the project after working on the project for a few months cheng Zhao was able to create a framework and sooner after chang Zhao decided to create community and use issue report feature in GitHub to attract more users and contributors, luckily this idea worked node-webkit sooner became famous and more people started using it. But there was a problem with the node-WebKit project although the project was sponsored by the intel repository was owned by an individual and cheng Zhao was just the contributor in the repository after seeing the popularity of the project original owner started claiming his rights and he applied restrictions due to all this conflicts cheng Zhao decided to quit the project.

    after quitting node-webkit cheng Zhao started a new project with the name atom-shell and in this project also cheng Zhao was the solo developer but soon enough using his prior knowledge he able to create framework later he named that project electron js .
